The Colleen Colton Award
Attorney Patti Gearhart Turner to receive the 2023 Colleen Colton Community Service Award
Colleen Colton, founder and longtime executive director of Guardianship Services, Inc., set the standard for community service. Few equal it, but those who do receive the Colleen Colton Community Service Award, an honor given annually to an individual who has changed the way our community cares for the vulnerable.
This year the Colleen Colton Community Service Award will be presented to attorney Patti Gearhart Turner, a founding member of the GSI board of directors. She has inspired and enlisted many in community service throughout her career, which spans social work, education, and distinction in the practice of law. Like Colleen Colton herself, she is a trailblazer.
Join us September 16, when Patti receives the Colleen Colton Community Service Award at Boot Scootin' & Target Shootin' 2023, a night of fun and games benefitting GSI. The evening includes dinner and drinks, a silent auction, and dancing to live music by The Mementos featuring Texas Certified Guardian Curt Shannon.
