Are you experiencing problems obtaining services for older adults and people with disabilities? Call the Aging and Disability Resource Center (www.tarrantcountyadrc.org), 1-888-730-2372. You are also welcome to visit the center from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, at 1300 Circle Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76119.

Cancer Care Services (www.cancercareservices.org) hosts quarterly professional programs. CEU’s are available. Reservations are required. Contact Jane Oderberg for more detailed information. Please RSVP: 817-921-0653, extension 206, or .

The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (www.dfps.state.tx.us/Adult Protection), Adult Protective Services, handles complaints about exploitation, abuse or neglect of an older person. Please call 1-800-252-5400. You are not required to reveal your identity.

The Area Agency on Aging in Tarrant County (www.aaatc.org) provides: respite for caregivers; training and individual counseling for caregivers; in-home services; benefits counseling; access to services for isolated older adults in designated areas; and short-term case management services to senior adults who have experienced a recent health care crisis.
